Red ivory hardwood, which we also refer to as pink ivory, is a unique Southern African hardwood. It ranges from light pink to dark red in colour, and has extremely high density.

This prized hardwood isn’t only beautiful to look at. It also has exceptional musical qualities. Tap a properly seasoned board and you’ll hear a beautiful, sweet ringing tone.

This makes the hardwood ideal for use as high-end or custom acoustic guitar back and sides.
